Its remote features and capabilities give owners total access and control, while providing a secure experience for occupants. With this gateway, users gain a level of convenience unheard of in smart lock technology.

Difference between G3 and G3 POE Gateway - How it works

The G3 works similarly to the G2 as a gateway device the works with the Bluetooth lock using the WiFi router in order to enable the smart lock to be used and managed remotely rather than just by Bluetooth.

The device is powered by  Cat5 Ethernet Cable (not included) with the option to power via USB C cable.

PoE allows a single cable to both power and send data to the gateway unlike the G2 and G3. This makes the gateway ideal for mounting in a hotel/apartment hallway. (PoE enabled network switch required). It is important to note that the gateway must still be within 10 metres of the Bluetooth locks you wish to control. (Solid walls may impede Bluetooth & Wi-Fi signals).

Features

The SSBTG3POE Gateway provides intelligent remote access to a variety of advanced features within the TTLock smart lock range, eliminating the need to be within Bluetooth range. Enjoy seamless and secure control over your smart locks from any distance. Features include:

- Remote unlock/lock (disabled by default)

- Create custom codes remotely

- Add/delete codes, pins, fingerprints and eKey access remotely in real-time

- View audit trails in real time

Quick Set Up Instructions

**Note** It is important that the user who is the original owner and administrator of the smart lock is also the same user who sets up and takes ownership of the gateway device in order to avoid technical and operational issues.

  1. Open “TTLock” and press the menu button. ("Hamburger"/3 horizontal lines)
  2. Select the “Gateway” option, then press the “+” icon.
  3. Press the “G3” Gateway option, then plug the gateway into the router using the a Cat5 cable.
  4. Wait for the Gateway to register on the TTLock App and select and name the gateway.
  5. The gateway will then search for nearby locks.

Many settings can now be modified while outside of Bluetooth range of the lock. Push notifications and audit trail can also be accessed.
